Community:
BURN STATION is made for and by a long and open list of net labels, net radios, independent digital o non digital producers. We are actually in contact with various cultural centers and mediatheques to install permanent burn stations set up in Jukebox mode.

Instalations: :
Temporal and permanent local burnstations exist or have been set up in Graz, Sao paulo, Madrid, Sevilla Barcelona and soon Bogota and Poand. The project is travelling trough europe in the context of various festivals. For more info about the tecnical developement and downloads see: BURNSTATION.ORG

Language and Context:
A strong focus of the project and the research is given to the eastern- Mediteraneen European Axis and to the establishment of a network of groups that may share resources, knowledge and even create common projects trough face to face meetings. At the same time the project has grown roots in Southamerica. (Venezuela, Colombia, Peru etc) trough the paralel project called BURN.FM, a net/fm radio dedicated to promote open source radio broadcasting and collaborative audio production.

The Burn station software and the data base uses english as its main language, but each local burnstation also provides specific content and information in the local language.
