txt : Within the frame of the programme for innovation Disonancias, Ideazoka is a Cooperative of Ideas initiated by Platoniq and the Department for Innovation and Entrepreneurship of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Mondragon.

Ideazoka wants to be a meeting point and a space for public participation where cooperatives and companies, students, researchers, workers, early retired people and citizens will contact each other to create a map of opportunities and mutual collaborations.

The challenge is to enhance engineers' entrepreneurship skills. Thus, twenty organisations from Urola Medio region connect their needs to the potential of students and researchers from the University of Mondragon. The aim is to revitalize cooperative model's original mission (going back to the source) and to distribute innovation dropwise by making the most of the economic and social resources that already exist on a local level. Some of those resources have been chosen: 5 solutions created by researchers, 5 requests or companies' problems, 5 students' ideas and 5 pioneers' challenges.

The physical event at the emblematic pelota court is complemented by the virtual space at Ideazoka's blog, which integrates Platoniq's S.O.S tool, a noticeboard for videos and SMS.

Near future will lead to repeat Ideazoka's dynamics in other regions to create a cooperative for local management and distribution of business ideas. This change from an "ongoing training" to an "ongoing connection" of people, resources and opportunities will promote a movement for social innovation.
