: Radiored
was Platoniq's first net-radio and its early documentation project
that produced, stored, managed and distributed audio contents on
the Internet. It’s contents were related to digital culture
and electronic music.
Radiored recently stopped its activities to convert itself into
the two subchanels Opserver.org
and Burn.fm
Radiored also worked as a platform for the developement of new radiophonic
formats and tools for creating music on-line where the core was
a database that allowed a non-linear reception; means by which Radiored
enabled the receiver to become an editor of it´s contents.
To make the public acquainted to the net radio content and to promote
cultural debate Radiored/Platoniq organized public events. Some
of the events included: MK2 cycle (Medien Kunst – Medien Kulturen)
in collaboration with the MACBA (Museo de Arte Contemporaneo de
Barcelona), Metronom, Hangar, Goethe Institut; Open Radio, Festival
Internacional de Radios at the CCCB.
